DenialIQ · Healthcare · Pilot program

Denied claims need an argument. Your biller approves every word.

DenialIQ reads each denial and tells you what to do about it: appeal it, fix it and resubmit, or push it up the chain. Then it drafts the appeal letter, written for that payer and quoting their own policy, for your billing team to review and approve.

Nothing is submitted without a person signing off. Offered through a pilot program for medical billing teams. Ask us about availability.

What is DenialIQ? DenialIQ is Vellix AI's denial-management product for medical billing companies, independent practices, clinics and community health centers (FQHCs). It is at pilot stage: a 90-day pilot with no long-term commitment, proper onboarding, and results measured on your own claims. We do not sell it to large hospital systems today.

How it works

From denial to decision in four steps.

  • 01Upload

Bring in your denials. Pilots begin on de-identified or synthetic data — PHI only after a signed BAA.

  • 02Analyze

Each denial is read against the payer's policy and the facts of your claim, so the recommendation is worked out, not guessed.

  • 03Draft

A payer-specific appeal letter, grounded in a payer policy library and cited chapter-and-verse.

  • 04Approve & track

Your biller reviews it, edits it, and approves it before it goes. Confirmed results are tracked by payer and code so the team can review what worked.

  • What comes with it

Two things built into DenialIQ. Neither is sold separately.

Neither is a separate product: both sit under DenialIQ's Pilot status, and what you get and what you pay is set by your customer agreement.

  • PreventIQ — pre-submission claim checks
    BUILT INTO DENIALIQ

The cheapest denial is the one that never happens. Upload your standard electronic claim file (an 837P) before submission and PreventIQ checks it against payer policy and historical denial patterns, returning a Submit / Fix / Hold decision — so likely denials get fixed before the claim leaves your office.

  • ReclaimIQ — patient appeal portal
    BUILT INTO DENIALIQ

Some denials are the patient's own appeal to make. ReclaimIQ lets a provider invite a patient, by text message, to a portal that walks them through writing and submitting an appeal for their denied claim in plain English — only ever by the provider's explicit invitation.

  • The lines we hold

    What DenialIQ will not do.

  • 01Never submits on its own.

No appeal or letter goes anywhere until a person has explicitly signed it off. Submitting claims by itself is not a feature here, and that is deliberate.

  • 02Never touches clinical decisions.

Administrative work only. Diagnosis and treatment belong to clinicians.

  • 03Never handles PHI without a BAA.

Until a Business Associate Agreement is signed, protected health information doesn't enter our systems. Pilots start on de-identified or synthetic data.

  • 04Never promises a win rate.

No guaranteed appeal success, no invented recovery statistics. Your payer mix and denial reasons decide what's recoverable — we'd rather measure it on your claims during a pilot than quote a number we haven't earned.

  • Where DenialIQ fits at Vellix

A real product today. Part of the platform later, which is a plan.

DenialIQ is built and run by Vellix AI, the same company building Vellix Business OS. Today the two are separate. Later, DenialIQ may run as part of the platform's planned Healthcare Edition — that is where we are heading, clearly labeled as such, and not something that exists.

Community health center? The FQHC & Community Health program adapts DenialIQ to the realities of community health billing. More buyer's guides in Insights — including the four kinds of denial-management AI and how they differ, and what a billing company should ask before buying one.

See your own denials argued back.

Ask about the 90-day pilot — full access, dedicated onboarding, and your own numbers, not our marketing's.
