Vellix Business OS

Healthcare Edition.

A planned version of Vellix Business OS, switched on separately, being designed for healthcare's stricter rules.

Planned. Not currently available. Everything on this page describes where we are heading, not something you can buy.

Read this first. Healthcare Edition is planned. It is not available, not ready for real use, not certified, and we make no compliance claim for it, HIPAA or otherwise. If you need help with healthcare work today, that is DenialIQ, our denial-appeal product offered through a pilot program.

Healthcare Edition is a planned version of Vellix Business OS, switched on separately, being designed for healthcare organisations. It is the same thing underneath, the Blueprint, the jobs, the sign-offs and the record, built out for an industry where the rules are stricter, the information is protected, and getting it wrong costs more than money. Standard and Healthcare are two versions of one product, not two unrelated systems, and turning healthcare on is a deliberate separate step.

Why a separate edition

Healthcare shouldn't be a tick-box on a general product.

The paperwork side of healthcare, checking eligibility, chasing billing, tracking prior authorisations, appealing denials, is exactly the kind of rule-bound work that has to be provable afterwards. That is what this is for.

TWO VERSIONS, ONE PRODUCT — AND A SEPARATE SWITCH Standard Edition in private testing · patient health information not allowed on Healthcare Edition PLANNED · NOT AVAILABLE off A SEPARATE SWITCH Standard Edition in private testing no patient health information Healthcare Edition PLANNED NOT AVAILABLE
A drawing of the two versions and the separate switch between them, not a screenshot. Healthcare would be turned on for a customer on purpose, never picked up by accident from an ordinary setup.

Doing it responsibly means building for it from the start: patient information handled only under the right agreements and controls, stricter settings out of the box, and a person signing off wherever the stakes call for it. Until that exists and clears its bar, patient health information stays banned from Standard Edition. A hard line, not a preference.

  • Switched on deliberately

Planned. Healthcare would be turned on for a customer on purpose, never picked up by accident from an ordinary setup.

  • DenialIQ joined up with it

Planned. DenialIQ, our existing denial-appeal product offered through a pilot program, may later run as part of Business OS. That is where we are heading. There is no connection between them today.

  • Patient information in Standard Edition

Prohibited. The line that keeps the plan honest: no patient health information in the non-healthcare version, ever.

  • Questions healthcare buyers ask

    Asked, and answered straight.

    Is Healthcare Edition available?

No. It is planned and not available today, and we are not promising a date. Register your interest on the early access page and we will tell you when that changes. We will not pretend it already has.

    Is it HIPAA compliant?

We make no such claim. A product nobody can use cannot honestly carry a compliance status. For what HIPAA actually requires, see the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services guidance at hhs.gov. What is true today: DenialIQ only handles patient health information once a Business Associate Agreement is signed, and pilots start on data with the patient details stripped out, or on made-up data.

What can I actually use from Vellix for healthcare today?

DenialIQ, which drafts appeals for denied claims with a person on your billing team approving every one, offered through a pilot program for medical billing teams and practices. Plus the FQHC and community health program.

Interested in healthcare? Two honest doors.

Look at DenialIQ for denial work today, or register your interest in the planned Healthcare Edition. That second one is interest in a plan, and nothing more.
