Vellix Business OS

What is Vellix Business OS?

Vellix Business OS is an AI business operating system. It works from a Business Blueprint: your company's operating manual, written down and approved by you — who does what, which rules apply, which system holds which records, and what needs sign-off.

The core platform is built and tested. The complete customer product is still in development and is not available yet.

You don't fill in a long form to write it. The onboarding assistant is designed to ask about your business in conversation, read back what it understood, and let you correct and approve it. Nothing becomes part of your Blueprint until you do.

Business OS is then designed to run the work step by step across the software you already use, stopping for a person's OK on anything your rules mark as important, and recording who did it, when, and under which rule.

The parts, in plain language

One platform, five moving parts.

BUSINESS BLUEPRINT what everything below reads from — approved by you, dated The jobs What you know AI steps run the way you approved step by step your rules and facts kept fresh, clashes flagged one small piece at a time the access that step needs Your controls sign-off where your rules require it · a record of important actions · budgets and alerts BUSINESS BLUEPRINT what everything below reads from The jobs What you know AI steps run the way you approved step by step your rules and facts kept fresh, clashes flagged one small piece at a time the access that step needs Your controls sign-off · the record · budgets
The Blueprint says how things work. The middle three do the work. Nothing reaches your systems without passing your controls. A drawing, not a screenshot.
  • Blueprint

How your business works, written down and approved by you — including who can see what, what needs sign-off and above what amount, and how far AI may go on its own. More →

  • The jobs

Where the work happens. Each job is carried out step by step, the way you approved it. Departments and roles describe your company; the jobs are what actually gets done. More →

  • What you know

The rules and facts the work depends on, kept fresh. Anything out of date or contradictory is designed to go to a person to settle rather than be used.

  • AI steps

AI, tools and links to your software. AI does single steps: drafting, checking, summing up. Each step can only reach what it needs. The AI works inside the system; it is not the product. Designed to work with different AI models and services, including ones running on your own hardware where that is allowed — we are not tied to any single supplier.

  • Your controls

Sign-off, the record and budgets. A person's OK where your rules require it, a record of important actions, and the AI cost tracked against budgets and alerts you set. More →

  • How it compares

What Business OS is, and what it isn't.

Plenty of AI products are useful. They are just doing a different job. Here is the honest map, a longer read on what real supervision of an AI system involves, and a plain definition of what a business operating system is.

How Business OS compares to the other kinds of AI product
Kind of productWhat it does wellWhat it doesn't doHow Business OS differs
Chatbot / AI assistantAnswers questions, writes text when askedDoesn't carry out a multi-step job, or hold anyone to your rulesCarries out the jobs you defined, with permissions, sign-offs and a record
AI agents that choose their own pathWork towards a goal on their own initiativeChoosing their own path can make them harder to predict, limit or check afterwardsEach AI step is given a defined job, limited access and a stopping point. An AI step is not given the ability to approve its own work
Company-wide searchFinds information across your toolsFinds it. Doesn't act on it, and holds nobody to your rulesActs on what it finds, under the rules in your Blueprint
App-to-app automationMoves information between apps when something happensNo company rules, no permissions, no sign-off limits, no cost controlJobs run under your Blueprint: your rules, not just a trigger
The systems that hold your records (CRM, accounting, email…)Hold your real business recordsEach one sees only its own sliceNot replaced, connected. They stay the official record

This compares kinds of product, not named companies, and we are not claiming Business OS is better for every need. It is a different kind of thing.

    Questions we actually get

    Frequently asked questions.

Every answer is on the page. Nothing here is hidden behind a control you have to find and open.

Does it replace my existing software?

No. Your CRM, accounting, email, calendar, storage, HR and healthcare systems stay where your real records live. Business OS moves work between them. We only list a connection once it has been built and tested, and none are advertised as available today.

    Is it available now?

Not yet. The core platform is built and tested. The complete customer product is still in development and is not available yet. Today it runs only in our private test environment, on made-up data. We are looking for design partners while we finish it. Healthcare Edition is planned and not available today. DenialIQ, our healthcare denial-appeal product, is offered through a pilot program.

Is this a way of watching my employees?

No, and it is not built to be. Vellix works from the business information, rules and system map your company chooses to put into its Business Blueprint. Connected records are used only for the work you approved. Each step is designed to see only what that step needs, important actions are recorded, and a person reviews any change. One thing here is built into the software rather than just promised: the Blueprint is not able to change itself, or to change anyone's permissions.
