Vellix AI LLC is a software company based in Louisville, Kentucky. We write software; we are not an agency, and we do not resell someone else's platform. We are building two things.

The first, and our main work, is Vellix Business OS — an AI business operating system that runs a company's everyday jobs under rules the company has written down and approved. It comes from a simple belief: AI should run your playbook, under your rules, with your people in charge. It should not improvise with your business. The core platform is built and tested. The complete customer product is still in development and is not available to buy, so nothing here is running for a customer today.

The second is DenialIQ, a separate product that drafts appeals for denied healthcare insurance claims, offered through a pilot program for medical billing teams. DenialIQ is where we put that belief into practice first: the AI does the reading and the drafting, and a person on the billing team reviews and approves every letter before anything is submitted. That pattern has a name, and we wrote out what it actually involves in what a human-in-the-loop AI system actually looks like.

We're independent, and small on purpose. We'd rather fix one problem that is costing you real money than ten that look good in a demo. And we'd rather tell you what doesn't exist yet than sell you a plan dressed up as a product. More of how we think is in our guides, including what a healthcare AI consultant actually does.

Being here matters to how we work. We are a short drive from most of the businesses we talk to in Louisville and across Kentucky, and we would rather sit down with an owner and watch the job that keeps going wrong than run it over a call. We also talk with companies elsewhere in the United States; outside Louisville, that conversation happens over a call.
